Field Service Technician: Hopkinton, MA – Hybrid

Salary Range: $21 - $26 / hour

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate, perform preventative maintenance, service, and repair equipment on site at customer’s location.
  • Meet or exceed customer service level agreements
  • Provide L1/L2 phone support for DIGI service
  • Perform site surveys prior to installation
  • Perform installation and necessary tasks to get equipment up and running
  • Maintain all documentation as required
  • Maintain service vehicle and parts inventory
  • On-call rotation is required to support customer base
  • Stand, squatting, kneeling in varies environments for long periods of time
  • Driving company vehicle long distances between customer locations
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Prior experience in field service preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
  • Good analytical skills for troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Ability to become Weights and Measures certified within 6 months of hire

Travel

  • Travel will be required with the possibility of 10% of the time including overnight.

Sales Rep – Virginia: Target States: West Virginia, Virginia, Parts of Eastern TN/Western NC - Remote

To prospect, promote, and increase customer and dealer accounts in the Mid-Atlantic region as it relates to retail food equipment including digital food industry scales, automated wrapping systems, zero waste solutions, and consumable film/ labels.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans

Salary Range: $48,000 - $55,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • 50% required territory travel to prospect for lead generation & conversion, conduct sales presentations, meet with dealers & customers, demo solutions, and penetrate the addressable target market
  • Present, demo, and sell the full portfolio of DIGI products and services to prospects, customers, and dealers/distributors
  • Develop solutions based on customer needs through active customer engagement, listening to customer needs, and problem solving with ROI for Digi solutions
  • Responsibilities include Cold Calling to establish and develop relationships with new customers and prospects
  • After understanding and addressing customers’ needs, prepare quotations
  • Develop strategy and actions plans to forecast, meet and exceed sales revenue plan
  • Maintain and support existing dealer and customer relationships through regular contact and support
  • Increase positive brand awareness through case studies and digital social media platforms
  • Utilize expense allowance within company guidelines to maximize sales activity and efficiency/li>
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to ensure customer delight
  • Work with sales manager and sales team to overcome objections and achieve budget goals within plan timeframe
  • Coordinate delivery and installation of DIGI equipment to customers with the assistance of Product Support and Service Teams
  • Analyze addressable and adjacent target markets within territory for trends and potential, while tracking and recording progress
  • Provide customer feedback including needs, usage, competitor activity, and potential for Digi solutions

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License with safe driving record and reliable transportation
  • Preferred Business Degree
  • 2-3 years of progressive sales experience selling through distribution/reseller network with proven track record for sales growth
  • Must reside in the state of Virginia
  • Required strong communications, organization, presentation, negotiation, and selling skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office.

Travel

  • Travel is required, with the possibility of up to 50% - 75% travel required.
